The delete batch job scheduled to run today, October 3, 2010, was postponed and has been rescheduled to run tomorrow, October 4, 2010 at 2pm US ET. The domain names that were scheduled to be deleted today will be released first, followed by the domain names scheduled to be deleted tomorrow.
If you require additional details, please contact Customer Service.
That’s it. No change in the drop system? Just a long hiccup? Other gTLDs have not been affected because they are handled by different entities. .ORG are handled by PIR, operated by Afilias, which also handles .INFO. The .BIZ and .US domain names and drops are handled by Neustar.
