I’ve been struggling a bit over what to do with my first post for the New Year. There’s a list on my notepad with eight different topics I am ready to write about, but I want to start this year out on a different note. In case we haven’t yet talked on the phone or via email, facebook, twitter, etc. My name is Michael Law and I live in Denver, Colorado. Creating this blog last year has been the most rewarding development project of mine yet, I’ve made excellent connections within the industry and vastly enhanced my knowledge of domain names (as well as made some money doing so). However, I am far from where I want to be in the big picture and haven’t made the time yet to reach out to everyone in this industry. I look forward to meeting you!
This post was partially inspired by Morgan’s 2010 New Year’s Resolution (specifically #3). Meeting some fellow domainers face to face and spending more time domaining away from the comfort of my home desk is a goal of mine in the upcoming year. I am ready to come out of the shell this year and see more of the world! As many of us are realizing, we will need to diversify and educate ourselves in both the virtual and physical world in 2010 and beyond to stay ahead of the game.
