Internet marketer BlueGlass is hosting a conference next month “focused on the social media, search marketing, domaining and investment industries.” The conference will be held in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on November 2nd & 3rd at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
I noticed Monte Cahn is representing the domain community as one of the featured speakers in the lineup. Among other speakers of interest are John Ferber and Chad Folkening co-founders of Domain Holdings, Andrew Beckman CEO of Location3Media, Jon Kelly VP of QuinStreet, Drew Curtis of Fark.com and well known serial entrepreneur – Peter Shankman.
There is an entire session dedicated to domaining called “The Evolving World of Domains” which will be moderated by Monte. Topics will include how to acquire strong domains, monetizing techniques, domains as an investment and surely there will be some discussion about reselling domain names. Local Search/SEO, PPC, Viral Marketing, Link Building, Online Reputation Management and Flipping Websites are all session topics that will be led by respective industry leaders and pioneers.
I definitely wont be attending the BlueGlass FL Conference but I thought it was worth the mention since they are focusing on domain names as one of the integral aspects of online business and investing. The entire conference looks like a great experience for entrepreneurs, domainers and anyone looking to do business online really. Early bird registration is already closed and the regular conference rate (thru day of registration) costs $555, which is a little pricey but looks like a good value considering the knowledge that stands to be gained from attending.
