@Jay – Thanks for the comment and I respect your opinion. I don’t think that .xxx is a joke at all, it is a very real extension that I think will eventually adopted by most online adult providers.
That being said, I didn’t make a huge investment and I would advise others to be very selective if in investing in this extension. At $85/each to acquire (name.com’s price) even a handful will cost a pretty penny. It’s hard to say how these names will do on the aftermarket or if end users will be buying.. that’s why it’s called speculating.
Don’t follow all the detail regarding the pro/con of this new .xxx extension. From a quick look, it seems to make perfect sense.

There are guidelines to register a .xxx domain, this is not a free speech domain, so if you register the suggested “corpse.xxx” you could find that the domain name is taken away from you, necrophilia is illegal in quite a few countries.
I hope you people can make a quick sale because at $100/domain and likely higher fees next year, it’s going to be a bill of over $500 every year for as few as 5 domains. I am staying away of this rip off, I rather buy a quality .com/net for $500.
