There have been over $5 million in domain sales over the last two weeks, since the $18 million Internet.com sale. That five mil is only from the top ten documented sales. Most recently, Call.com sold for $1.1 million. Live Current Media sold the domain name via sedo.com. I think this was a bargain for the new owner! Dropshippers.com and its e-commerce website sold for $1.5 million. The most notable sale since my last report was the Cricket.com sale in which this high traffic name (51k in alexa) was dealt for $1.75 million. The new site concept is a “Fantasy Cricket” league. Good luck to Domain Holdings Inc and their fantasy cricket project.
Some notable six figure sales last month included Brazil.com $500,000, Payment.com, 250,000, Editor.com $225,00, ChinaTours.com $200,000. I thought Brazil.com was an absolute steal at under $1 million. ChinaTours.com was a pretty impressive sale, congrats Rick Schwartz! A few others I thought were worthy of mention: SexTV.com scored $97,500 and Alternate.com for $90,000. A massive ccTLD sale occurred in August as well, Games.eu sold for $95,850. For some reason I don’t see September slowing down much either. I collected most of my info for this post from the domain sales reports at DNJournal.
wow !! its very interesting to read about cricket.com $1.75 ml is not small amount for a domain, payment , editors are also having great demand . good news .
