A PageRank update just occurred on the first on November, although my sites aren’t reflecting any changes from the last update in May. I haven’t heard much buzz from the domain community about their PageRank updates this round either. Anyone have positive or negative changes to report?
I found this article by Barry Schwartz of SearchEngineLand.com that points out that PageRank data has disappeared from the Google webmaster tools reports. According to Barry’s article a rep from Google Webmaster Central said that webmasters should not focus as much on their PageRank and that’s why it was removed from the webmaster tools. So what’s next… Remove it from the Google toolbar? Stop the updates? Surely, Google can come up with a better page ranking model that does more than just spit out a number between one and ten.
Most of ours stayed the same.
Bunch of PR5’s.
Mine fell 1 PR down
Thank you Aron and TechFilipino
I am wondering if anyone has an opinion on the fate of Google PageRank?
The DNPimping blog jumped from no page rank to PR2. Glad to see the hard work is finally paying off. Nice jump for a new blog. Here’s a great resource to look at: http://www.domainsuperstar.com/top-100-domaining-blogs
Jason, yea that is a great list from domainsuperstar.com. I will probably make a link to it somewhere on my site. That chart says I am PR2 but everywhere else I check is saying PR1? Just can’t imagine Name Talent would not have changed this update.
Nice job working DNPimping up to PR2!
