Danica Patricks Unveils #7 Godaddy.com Motorsports Stock Car

That’s right, GoDaddy.com poster girl Danica Patrick has signed with JR Motorsports (owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr.).  Yesterday in Phoenix Danica Patrick, Godaddy.com founder Bob Parsons and JR Motorsports co-owner Kelly Earnhardt unveiled Danica Patrick’s new #7 Motorsports stock car during the press conference that announced her addition the the JR Racing Team.

When asked why she chose to partner with JR Motorsports, Patrick inferred that a good relationship between Bob Parsons and Dale Earnhardt Jr made the deal possible.   Bob Parsons knows that adding a GoDaddy.com car to the Nascar circuit will give them that much more exposure, especially on on Dale Jr’s team.

Although I am not much of a racing fan, I think it’s exciting for Nascar to have Danica Patrick driving a stock car.  She has proven to the Indycar fans that she is a serious driver.  This season out of 17 races she has placed in the top 5 five times and the top 10 ten times (for approx $800k in winnings).
