Sedo is getting in the Earth Day spirit this week. Not by organizing a recycling event or switching to eco friendly servers. No, they are celebrating Earth Day by launching the new Sedo.com/green where they showcase and sell ‘green’ domains like Hybrid.com, Electric.org, AlternativeEnergySystems.com and a host of other ‘green’ related names including a wide variety of ccTLD’s. I should also mention that Green.co.uk is in this showcase at $100k gbp.
Another addition to the Sedo marketplace is Sedo.com/retail a place where retail domain names are featured. A few of the domains on this page that stuck out to me were Ropa.com (Spanish for clothes), OnlineShopping.de, KidsRetail.com and more. Ropa.com is a great name!! Sedo also announced it would be hosting a retail only domain auction on June 3-10th, inventory has not yet been released. On the Sedo retail page there are a couple featured examples of how Sedo clients improved their online revenue greatly by acquiring a retail related domain via Sedo. Expect to hear alot more about Sedo.com/retail alot more this Spring.
Curiously, I typed in sedo.com/………. with a few different words and there are lists of domains for sale on sedo.com/adult, sedo.com/sports and sedo.com/travel and probably on other major categories.
Global warming is a crock. Those hacked emails proved that the scientists, along with that dope Al Gore, conspired to alter data. He and the entire “movement” is a fraud.
I didn’t know Earth Day was an Al Gore ‘movement’. 😉
Well, Mike, back in the 1970s it was Al Gore’s way of claiming we were all going to die in another ice-age. Momentum has swung to the other side now but we shall see since “warming” as now been proven to be falsified, maybe we’ll go back to “cooling”… Especially since this volcano is spewing dust into the atmosphere, thereby providing more of a mechanism for cooling than warming.
Either way, “Earth Day” as it was supposed to be *intended* has been hijacked, just like most everything else that began with good intentions.
