No, it’s not a $1 promo code, but it is a $1 domain promotion announced on Facebook earlier this week. The catch is you have to call Godaddy to redeem the promo and register a domain for $1 + $.18 ICANN fee. You must pay with credit/debit card no paypal, as always be aware of the add-ons or extra services that may automatically be set on auto-renew once the domain is in your account.
I haven’t tried this yet but probably will, hard to pass up on $1 registrations. From the comments being left on their Facebook page, it appears people are spoiled by the $1 promo codes Godaddy releases on a regular basis. Let’s hope this isn’t the end of them, remember, Godaddy

Update: Just registered a .com with using the promo. It took about six minutes (on hold for three). It was funny until I said ‘Stay Cool’ the customer service agent pretended he didn’t know what I was talking about, LOL.
