At this point we all know who applied for what extensions and who didn’t. By far the biggest missing TLD is .facebook, which nobody including Facebook bothered applying for. The one question that remains is what extensions did the “experts” miss out on? There’s a lot more than you may expect.
.ALL .SHARE .AMERICA .GREAT .SNOW .DOLLAR .TREND .BONUS .STOCKS .SWEET .SUPER .FRESH .DRINK .EYE .WHITE .YELLOW .NATIONAL .SERVICE .FRUIT .MAY .ASSIST .BROWSE .CODE .HACK |
.DDOS .TAN .FRIEND .TAG .FUTURE .GOOD .EVIL .GOD .GOAL .PUBLIC .PRIVATE .TLD .KISS .MORE .MAS .LIGHT .DARK .CHINA .INDIA .LEFT .RIGHT .SUMMER .WINTER .WEAR .DRUG |
For those of you that thought all of the good gTLD’s would be taken after the first batch, think again. Time to start saving up for the next round! What are you surprised is not already applied for?
.worthless
Jim – Hmm.. not sure the potential in .worthless – can’t say I’m surprised it was not applied for 😉
Mike Berkens just published an informative article highlighting the media companies that did and did NOT apply for their gTLD: http://www.thedomains.com/2012/06/13/media-companys-cbs-abc-fox-apply-for-new-gtld-nbc-abc-disney-cnn-espn-do-not/
.INDIA couldn’t be applied for.
